Red wines require a temperature range of 54 to 64 degrees Fahrenheit while white wines need cooler temperatures ranging from 46 to 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Not only is the temperature that wine is stored at important but also the humidity plays a very prominent role in aging as well as the taste of the wine within the bottles.
